Volunteer Management Workshop

Volunteer Management Workshop is an interactive two-day course based on National Standards that introduces best practice management techniques.

Main Topics covered are:

  • Working with volunteers
  • Evaluation as part of planning
  • Volunteer motivators
  • Job descriptions and recruitment
  • Leading and developing groups
  • Training, development and support of volunteers
  • Best practice management and supervision

 

Fee for 2 day workshop is:

  • $240 for an individual or non-profit group
  • $320 for government agency

($40 discount off this if you or your group is a member of VACT)

Delivery methods include interactive case studies and group discussion.

 

A major outcome of the course is the networking which occurs between managers and coordinators of diverse volunteer programs.
